And meantime, check out this excellent LA Times article that summarizes the growing evidence that there's a genetic basis for being gay, evidence that those of us who say God made us this way are right. So if God don't make no junk, why do we need to be fixed, Mr. Nicolosi?

I don't know if I would say that genetics means that God made us this way.

In fact, I've always thought that homosexuality being genetic is a strong argument for the "being gay is just a result of a fallen/imperfect world" argument.

Nonetheless, I do think that stronger evidence that homosexuality is genetic will hopefully squelch most of the harmful psychological abuse, progressing the question from "How should homosexuals change?" to "How can homosexuals best live their lives?"

Interesting. I'm actually starting a series on my blog tomorrow that will go a little more in depth into the evidence of the genetics of homosexuality (including the twin studies mentioned in the article).
